Keeping cool is important! Here's some tips to take care of yourself & your home: 

• Install window air conditions snugly; insulate if necessary
• Check air-conditioning ducts for proper insulation
• Install temporary window reflectors, such as aluminium foil covered cardboard to reflect heat back outside
• Weather-strip doors and sills to keep cool air in
• Cover windows that receive morning and afternoon sun with drapes, shades, awnings, or louvers. 
• Keep storm windows up all year
• If you must go outside, wear loose-fitting, light colored clothing
• Apply sunscreen, even if the sun is peeking out from behind the clouds
• Be sure to check on your pets
• Stay hydrated!
