It was first thing Thursday morning when my phone rang with a call from Moses Ortiz, the owner of Top Notch Contracting out of Lexington, MA. We have been getting a lot of rain recently and he let me know that one of the houses he is doing work on in Wayland, MA got flooded. Moses showed up on-site to get to work on the home when he noticed the basement flooded overnight. With the basement flooded, his crew could not do any work on the home that they needed to that day. I was able to get a project manager on-site within the hour to assess the situation. The project manager dispatched a crew to the property later that day. Our crew extracted the standing water from the basement and left drying equipment overnight. Top Notch Contracting was able to resume work on the home the next day.
