Mitigate the Water Damage

Water Damage to a property is obviously stressful and unpleasant, but dealing with residential or commercial water damage is our specialty. We understand water damage comes in many forms, but before our professional team arrives to the scene, it is important to do everything you can to mitigate the water damage.

Once you notice water damage, in a safe and timely matter, try to identify what caused the problem to begin with. Finding out what caused the water damage will play a huge part in preventing further damage and loss. 

After doing that follow these steps:

1. Unplug outlets in the vicinity of the affected area to prevent hazardous situations

2. Remove personal or valuable items away from the affected area as long as you can do so safely.

3. Assess the water damage. Is it something you can handle by yourself? 

It most cases that is not the case and that is okay because our trained team of professionals is always on stand-by. While our office hours are 8-5, water damage can happen at any time which is why we always have team members on call.
