Fire Prevention this Summer
5/28/2020 (Permalink)
It has really started to feel like summer the last few days with highs reaching 90 degrees. Obviously, with the warmer weather comes an increase chance of fires. Outdoor fireworks and BBQ grilling are known as staples in America during the summer.
Fireworks are Illegal in Massachusetts
If you did not know already, fireworks are very dangerous and illegal in our state of Massachusetts. They often times can harm people and cause fires. Although fireworks are banned in Massachusetts, a handful of people try to use them around here every year so watch out for that. Never let kids or children play or handle fireworks.
Grill safety
Grilling and BBQs are a popular option when it's summer time. We understand that.
Here are some of best tips on how to grill safely and properly:
-Only grill outside and keep grill at least 3 feet from property. Do not let it touch a fence or wall.
-Open your gas grill before lighting
-Don't leave grill unattended. Always be around the grill when it is on.
-Clean your grill after each use to remove grease, which can cause a fire
