Leaking Sprinkler in Bedford
SERVPRO inspected a raised concrete floor in a commercial building for a soiled concrete floor due to a leaking sprinkler line. The Category 3 water affected most of the raised concrete flooring under and around machinery. Though there was not any water, the floors were marked with a black soot like substance that was not removed easily. The raised area is only accessible via a fire escape type ladder.
SERVPRO cleaned the affected flooring by applying degreasers, some agitation by-hand in tight areas beneath machinery, and cleaning with pressure steam. The customer was satisfied that we were able to come out within a day of the issue occurring and that we did not disturb the daily operations of company.
