Hurricane Matthew brings Mold!

When SERVPRO headed down to Virginia Beach and South Carolina we were happy to help multiple families who were facing losses due to Hurricane Matthew.

SERVPRO responded to a single family home built in 2014 that experienced water loss in basement and kitchen. The homeowner was aware that the affected rooms were dried out for the most part, but she was in fear of mold as it only takes 24-48 hours for mold to grow.

SERVPRO removed and discarded all affected materials due to it being a Category 3 water loss. A botanical based anti-microbial was applied as well as drying equipment to assist in restoring building materials.
