Water Damage in Game Room

SERVPRO of Lexington-Bedford responded to an emergency after hours water loss that was caused by a hot water heater malfunction in the basement of a single family home. The water affected the flooring and lower walls of three rooms in the basement.

After receiving approval from the adjuster, our crew was given permission to extract water but the customer felt more comfortable with us returning the next day due to it being a late night loss. When the crew was finally allowed to extract the water, we set up drying equipment and when the carpet had successfully dried out, we finished the job by performing a carpet cleaning. 

The customer was glad he didn't have to remove and replace the carpet in the basement.
