Sewage Back Up in Foundation
During the construction of a basement's foundation, contractors were faced with a sewage back up in the unfinished basement. The sewage affected the concrete flooring, lower walls and wooden contents.
SERVPRO of Lexington-Bedford was unable to get out there immediately therefore forcing us to throw away any unsalvegable contents. After extracting the remaining sewage using portables, our crew cleaned the concrete flooring with a pressure steam. Our final job was to spray a plant based anti-microbial on all affected building materials.
The contractor was happy that SERVPRO was able to clean up such a large sewage mess in such a short time.
