Mold Remediation in Rec Room

As we always say, mold is everywhere! Some molds are good while others can cause harm to one's health. The sight of mold makes some of our customers uneasy, especially if they have children in the house, but they know who to call in order to properly remediate the issue!

SERVPRO inspected an occupied single family residence built in 1938 for visible microbial growth in the basement recreation room. Upon inspection SERVPRO discovered visible microbial growth on the wall behind the built in shelving unit and baseboards. SERVPRO cleaned and disinfected the affected walls and baseboards. SERVPRO installed a 500 CFM HEPA ( Air Filtration Device) collect airborne microbial spores, lead dust, bacteria, and particulates. A botanical anti-microbial was applied to all affected building materials. All services were performed by IICRC certified technicians in accordance to the IICRC S520 standard.
